Bayonetta – DMC gone girly?
Apparently someone that was involved with DMC wanted to make a game with a girl as the main lead.
Here comes Bayonetta – a female version of the DMC games…
As you´d probably guess I´m not that happy with what I see here in the gameplay or cutscenes. The focus on her leather clothing along with the closeups on her crotch isn´t really something nice.
But who knows? It might get intresting to see how far the can copy Devil May Cry without getting sued. Or if it is capcom that is making this game then I hope there will only be one game like this. Feels to much as Devil May Cry, with the angels it feels like DMC4 above anything else, feels as if they used the same scenery from DMC4 as well. The first city that you go out into after you´ve beaten Dante in the beginning.

What’s up with the rings popping out? Is she Sonic’s sibling?

Finally understood what the meaning was of “AO”.
The rings are her version of Devil Trigger from the DMC games. As you see in the final part of the trailer she transforms into a monster that takes a munch out of her enemy.
So she ain´t Sonic´s sibling. But rather a new try to make combos as she is more pointed at distance attacking as she has 4 guns. Dante has a big sword for melee, she has these rings and her hair that can transform into different shapes and whatnot.
DMC!? O_O ftw
All depends. Sure Lady was kickass in DMC3, but in DMC4 she was looking and acting really weird and irritating.
With that in mind I don´t want any female leads in this genre. As they would only be sexy and act tough. Sure it looks hot and all with the guns at her heels and all, but to much exposure to her “sexyness” and well… people might start looking at that and not the gameplay.
Isn’t this game made by the guys who made DMC in the first place?
From what I know yes, it´s the main head that gave us DMC that is making Bayonetta, but I do feel that it´s taken a turn into the wrong path for an action game. Less focus on breasts and crotch and more action is the recipe I´d make but oh well.
Boo to this game. Talk about giving DMC a bad name. This is a poor rip off and it horribly annoyed me from the first thing she said. I don’t think the extreme close up of her feminine area was appropriate. If I wanted to see that, I would just watch a hentai.
A bad rip off and it should burn in the fires of hell. Dante would kill this mockery in a moment.
IF they keep the focus on the crotch and leather clothes to a minimum then this can turn out to be a kinda semi cool game.
But if they make a “Gloria” character then I will hate it.
