So, another year has passed. Many of the pople whose blogs I visit are talking about what they did in the previous year. With my bad memory I don´t remember that kind of details. I only remember strong emotions.

Like that Disgaea 3 was released, Valkyria Chronicles was released and as well as the GOTY 2008: Shin Megami Tensei – Persona 4. That is mainly what I remember from games. From anime I remember Macross Frontier and Ga-Rei Zero, much thanks to me disliking how they ended.

I´m not much for celebrating these kind of things. The neighbours are out having fun with fireworks, so expensive for that short short thrill isn´t really my stile. 60h of P4 played and I´m starting to see the end, but it will require a lot of more time thanks to it being the end dungeons left and this is a SMT title. The sad part is that I don´t have a girlfriend or a girl to spend this time with. But at the same time I enjoy not having a girlfriend since I´m very cautious of relationships thanks to some bad experiences with friends and family.

But onto some nicer things. The Clannad personalities wishes you all a Happy New Year and as a little bonus it´s the same image I´m using as a wallpaper for the moment so I´m killing two birds with one stone here by doing this. Yay for being smart!!

The year that has passed has thrown me into despair, since I lost motivation for the end rush in school but I still managed to finish that class that was struck the most. I´ve also learned that I have a somewhat good thing for learning how to use computer programs. Why, well the instructions are so detailed and I sit by a computer that many hours a day so I guess it should come naturally.

I also managed to find out how Hemisphere had done that nice design on his blog. So with out further ado I took the theme I was using at the time which I really liked, Arthemia and then made the changes needed to be done and voila, the “Smexy Arthemia” theme was born. I´m quite proud of it since I´m no good with PHP commands that wordpress uses. But I think I´ve learned quite a bit thanks to this.

What is there more to talk about? The old database for http://otoboku.se with the title Otoboku.se got ruined and weird so I had to start over freshly, born was The Fool thanks to my love for Persona 3 and the main character being of the Arcana “The Fool”. And I felt that it was a bit like me since apparently I can change my personality to match a lot of situations.

I also got another blog, hosted on http://oniichannoecchi.com thanks to Randall. From the beginning I started out by myself, but I started an experiment to create and run a multi-author blog. IT failed but it gave me a chance to rethink what I wanted to do with Nibelung Valesti. I decided to keep bloging in swedish and got a new fresh theme for it as well.

As a total I´ve started to amass a lot of visitors, my post about Pokemon was the starting point for a lot of spam, laughter and despair since well it´s basically what people come here for… which isn´t that much fun but oh well. Since I switched over to Arthemia that single post has had 40,000 visits… all comming to see this single image:

It is kinda sad that it is so popular since I want to have visitors read something else than that post. But at least it gives me traffic so… oh well. According to my visiting stats from my provider, One.com this year 191,209 people have visited my blog this year. Which is kinda good. But I do not know if this is counting the spambots or not. Since I´m freakently visited by those as well for some reason…

I also got a site shut down(if it hasn´t revived) since they were making a lot of stupid pingbacks to my site and saying that I did not write what I did. But I won in that dispute and not long after, it started again, but then I got hold of the previous owner of the site and well, it worked out. It was just with my christmaspost that it kinda started, but I wrote a comment and apparently it worked since it didn´t happen again.

So all in all, this was one year that I´ll soon forget the everyday stuff from, but in regards to games, Disgaea 3, Valkyria Chronicles and Persona 4 will always be in my heart as they are so damn good games. Now all I have to do is wait for Ar Tonelico 2 to be released and sent here. Then we might have the GOTY 2009 already in the first month of the year.

Oh well. I´ve got nothing left to say, not that I can think of now anyway, thanks to P4 I didn´t get a lot of sleep last night, neither did I have time to recharge my batteries today either since there was soccer training and now the fireworks have finally stopped so I might be able to get some sleep. Unless there are some idiots still left that will blow up a few more fireworks in about 1 hour at 0200 AM.
