So, once again I´ve been watching Kiddy Grade -and. For some odd reasons I keep watching shows I shouldn´t like. Must be lack of anything better to do at the moment.

But I have to say that they have gone out of their way to create this episode.

You want to know why? It´s serious busniess you know? With the last ep being that Trixie and Troisienne “training” Escour, Q-fuelle and Dia and banging their heads against some opponents from G Society it was pretty obvious something would happen in the following episode.

But to go from a merry go round anime that focuses a whole damn episode on stealing some pumpking pudding and showing of different types of bloomer and visiting a yaoi host club to this serious stuff in two episodes?

To quote the AVGN: “It blows my mind” is a very valid comment. “What were they thinking” not that far behind. You start of a show with funny, ecchi comedy stuff and then all of a sudden

BANG, two persons are dead and from the looks of it, they were also the two aces of GTO and were instantly defeated by the main of the G Society group thanks to them not being able to use their “G Class” abilities any more.

Weird stuff is weird and I cannot comprehend why they suddenly took this twist. The whole episode is serious. In a way seriously fucked up. If you are fighting against another group that has ability users much like your own group then you know about them, their skills and what they look like.

So with two of them just walking in on a conferance and start creating mayham is out of the question unless it´s a freaking plot-hole. Then we watch the whole episode with Ascour and Q-fuelle banging their heads, being the ones who tell the visitors where to sit. Them being asigned to guard the guests and finally breaking that order to help the other ES members.

That for some odd reasons are in dire trouble since they have been matched with a very bad matchups, with opponents that are perfect against their abilities. How do you stop a guy with perfect vision? You show him illusions, how do stop his partner with a good hearing? Ultra-sonic attacks. A electro-magnetic whip? Freeze it.

So it is up to Trixie and Troisienne to save the day. Trixie with her teleportation and ability to convey space at will and Troisienne with her ability to stop time, thus freezing what she wants making them invunerable for attacks or stopping a oncomming attack.

But from the looks of it that is what caused them to be defeated. And all this while Hiver, the big cheese stands at the podium for her talk and does nothing. Getting aroused from getting a smooth line from her personal assistant and lover-boy…

And the ep ends with tears and yelling…

Now this show is serious!! And apparently Dia will stroll away on her own becoming a target in the next episode with Tama once again stealing a kiss from her to power up. Into what I have no idea, probably something that can kick some ass.

Ascour and Q-fuelle will be in the emo-kid state next episode. Hopefully they will regain their senses at the end of the episode. Yes I will watch the next episode to see how much they cry and who they accuse of everything.
