To be honest, I’m pretty tired of christmas by now. But hey, PRESENTS! RAWR!

We hear it this year
We’ve heard it many times before
Wishes for happiness
Just like in times of yore

A warm pat on our heads
And a pinch of our ears”

But I know that it’s bullshit
A ridiculous lie
Hard gifts wrapped in paper
Is more like my slice of pie
Maybe a game
For my Nintendo Wii
Or a new controller
For my 360

Maybe a manga
For me to read
Maybe some anime
Haven’t watched Gundam Seed
A lot of things
To satisfy my greed
Yes, pure entertainment
Is just what I need

I don’t give a shit
‘Bout Baby Jesus’s birth
And I guess Santa Claus
Must be the biggest pedo on earth
So throw away that hat
Burn that stupid tree
Hard gifts wrapped in paper
Are just enough for me

Atrer’s Message

Christmas is finally here and for the first time I can’t spend time with the family since flights are too expensive and everything just got a lot colder over here which is a surprisingly cold for South Florida. What a year it has turned out to be, seems like I broke my own promise on wasting money on too many games.

What a great year it has been for me on the Entertainment side along with continuing college. Filled with some great Fighters, Role Playing Games, Action Adventure including some shooter games like Uncharted 2 – definitely another great year for the gamer. Not only that I now post here on The Fool, who would’ve thought I’d be here? I must give special thanks to Manga for all the support as a blogger and a friend – you deserve a cookie!

Now busy with Final Fantasy XIII I can’t stop thinking about it; mind-stuck for another word I guess. Hope you guys enjoy the same as me… Christmas break… family… girls… and games. Happy Holidays to everyone! Make sure to have that big smiling face ready for 2010!

manga´s bit of afterthought for the year that passed

Christmas, a joyfull time of the year when snow is falling and it turns cold and dark. Perfect for watching anime or playing games. Thinking back I can rarely remember what games that I bought over the year. It is a big mixup of titles from differente years. Two of the titles that I do remember are Agarest: Generations of War and BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger.

It seemed as if this was the rerelease year for games as big time titles like Marvel VS Capcom 2, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII were released. It was the year that Jim Schafter finally released Brütal Legend and it got a various of faces thrown. Mixing hack n slash into a RTS might be genious or worst set up ever all depending on who you ask.

This year I went ahead and turned The Fool into a multi-author blog and except for some small misstakes and missunderstandings I feel that this has worked brilliant.

Yes, this sounds more like a rerun of the whole year but I have to write something down about it and since it is christmas it is a special day for many of us and thus, let´s make it so. Thinking back is always a good thing to do unless you want trouble later on.

So we wish you all a merry christmas, even though for some of our readers it is a bit late/early, all depending on where you live in the wide world.
