[Filler] TAS show why SFA3 is not in tournaments
I loved Street Fighter Alpha 3 when I first bought it. The Super Combos, the different styles and above all the gameplay was golden. But I kept using A-ism, where I had 3 levels of Super meter, a lot of different super combos to choose from and above all, it was the best style for me.
I never took any interest in X-ism as it only allowed for one super combo and you got hurt more easily. The V-ism was something I never took time to learn. For me it was just a buttonmasher when you activated the custom combo.
But here with as part one of a tool assisted speedrun you can see the reason why SFA3 is not fun to play against other people who know what they are doing. Sure they can´t do it all without it being a TAS but I´ve seen a lot of custom combo videos and they just take all the fun away from the game.

cool. Karin is actually my fave female char (than Sakura, yes), and I don’t know why she didn’t had any more exposures after SFA3… I especially like her move to counter attacks…
and lol with the bugs in grabbing? I’m also fond of using v-ism. but I don’t like it that much because it will cancel the moment you got hit. But I like it the fact that it’s also easy to recharge. I only use it when I’m using chun-li its monstrous if you use it together with hundred kicks >:) .
Karin was fun to use in SFA3. I never learned how to make the counter moves though. But I still managed to clear the game with her.
Her I think it was D, DF, F button combos were nice to use.
The key to use V-ism is to know when and where to use it. If I understand it correctly it gives a small point of invincibility and thus you can use that to counter.
The throw glitch is useable for a few character, Birdo, Zangief and the samurai which have 360 motion grabs can use that kind of throw glitch with V-ism.
Using Chun Li and V-ism is deadly indeed. I don´t remember what kind of combo you could use but it was indeed deadly.
I liked to use Akuma and V-ism, juggling the opponents is fun
This was in the more advanced mode where you had to pinpoint certain abilities and such for each stage. The mode in which you unlock Guile and Shin Akuma.
