I have decided to keep all the old posts here so you can see and laugh at them. I´ve also decided that since this is now a multi-author blog I will not keep my personal stories here any longer. They will be removed in the nick of time when I find it. I will post more info about that later.

As the images will be basically the same width I can start posting again and still work on the new look as things will be very much the same in that regard

After April I will have a nice interview for you to read. It´s a secret with it´s contents and alas, the reason for not posting it before May is confidential. But look forward to a nice interview. If things go well I might have more of that planned for the future.

They also have their fan service hall of shame and “What’s rot in the land of the Rising Sun”. These will always be a show that has some panty shots and they don’t care how good it is. Haruhi has been in there, Ro-Kyu-Bu!, Mayo Chiki, Strike Witches (which they then rated with a good amount of stars), and others, and I always think that most of them are good animes, but you don’t like them because of panties? Someone needs to learn about the world of anime a bit more if you think you’ll be seeing none of that in them.

So in my curiosity I ordered a Dengeki G and Nyantype from Japan. I can’t read Japanese, I can make out the odd phrase in anime but reading kanji is a totally different concept again, but I thought there’s no harm in having a look. When I got them I was firstly surprised by the sheer size of the magazines, Dengeki G is 4 times thicker than NEO. I knew that there was more material but the sheer amount was huge.

I browsed through Nyantype to start. Which comes with an array of posters each issue, all in at least A3 size. The posters are great, I’m never going to remove them in fear I’ll damage them, but I still pull them out to look at. I also had a quick look at the articles, which I was actually able to comprehend some bits from, bits is the key word though. The articles covered current anime, and caused me to pick some up. Near the back there’s info on upcoming anime, products and games. Now the key here is that the type of product is in English. From this I can actually work out some of the stuff. Nyantype is where I learnt that the Familiar of Zero is finally getting a season 4, and that Index has a movie in production. It also has upcoming figures, and BD/DVD release dates, very important to someone that gets them.

Manga wise, currently you have Mayo Mayo, a spin off of Mayo Chiki (which I can’t find online anywhere), and Strike Witches, as well as others. Both are nice to look at, but I wish I could read them.

Next is Dengeki G. Dengeki’s stuff is awesome in my opinion. As I said, the size of G is huge, yes 50% of that can be manga which I can’t read, but that’s still a lot of stuff for me to go through. Dengeki G looks more at Eroge and games, which is a great contrast to Nyantype. The articles have great pictures to go through, and I’ve been visiting the websites of a lot of the stuff I’ve seen in there, with the aid of Google translate. The manga in there is all the one’s I’d collect if I could as well. Ro-kyu-bu, Oreimo (well orekouhei lol), Angel Beats, Denpa, etc, so I have fun going through them. I’ve also started reading a scanlated version online while having the magazine so I can enjoy it more, lol.

There’s normally one poster in G at the front, but the material inside makes up for that. The images for the games and anime are always cute, and I find I flick through on quite a few occasions. The eroge section is probably my favourite and makes me want to import some of the games. Maybe I should, if I can find some patches for them.

Dengeki does more than one magazine, and the other I currently get is Moeoh. If the title doesn’t give it away, this one is dedicated to moe. To be honest it’s more like an artbook than an anime magazine. There are articles and manga but the pictures are what I buy it for. The pictures are obviously moe, and there’s an abundance of catgirls, or animal eared girls, which is my favourite type of anime girl, they so cute! ^_^ You also have some eechi manga, and currently a 4komo version of Ro-Kyu-Bu!, which looks hilarious and I need it translated, lol. There also appears to be some kind of Light Novel for Ro-Kyu-bu! in it but I’m not too sure. Rewrite has the same thing in G.

If your a fan of moe then this is a must purchase if your considered getting a magazine from Japan. Hopefully the pictures will convince you.

I’ve also ordered Dengeki Hime, which is a hentai magazine. Not sure what this one’ll be like but I’ll make a comment here when I get it.

Larnu~

Well I’m Larnu and I thought I’d make a myself a bit of introduction post. I’ll be making posts here alongside manga and the others and hope to bring some extra reading and enjoyment for you all.

I’m not sure exactly where to start on an introduction, so I’ll give an idea of what I hope to post in the future. I expect my main focus will be Anime related topics. I do tend to watch a lot, picking up 4-5 shows each season, as well as picking up shows that have aired in the past that I haven’t watched. Hopefully I’ll be able to express my opinions on some of the current shows that are out there and spark your interest in them, or maybe help you steer clear away.

I’m a gamer as well, and play quite a lot of JRPG’s. My favourites all seem to be from NISAmerica, so likely I’ll be commenting on those. Ar tonelico Qoga and Neptunia have got to be two of my all times fav’s and Disgaea 4 comes out next week so I’ll be looking forward to this. I’ve also recently been looking into the Visual Novel Genre, and I’m eagerly awaiting my copy of Aselia the Eternal from JastUSA.

I read a fair amount of manga as well, although I don’t spend nearly as much time on it as anime, I’ve still got a large collection. I told read anything that’s not been published however, so if I’m going to be commenting on something, likely what I do say it outdated. Sorry, but things often take a long time to get released in the UK, so you’ll have to bare with me.

Another thing I’ve started collecting recently is a few anime/manga magazines from Japan and I currently have a subscription to a few. Even though what I can understand is very limited, I find that I really do enjoy does browsing through them. For anyone that’s considered, I’d suggest at least getting one magazine at some point to spark your interest. I’ll likely do a post on this at some point here.

As I said in the previous post I was at a loss over what to do. Should I get a new theme by buying one or should I create one myself?

That is what I´ve been thinking about these last two months. As well as studying full time and even above that in terms of points. So even without having to think about The Fool I´ve been busy as hell. Which my co-writters have been as well.

I´m starting to get the hang of the studies so I can start making my time more well spent than before. Which is a good thing since then I can start writing stuff again.

New theme thoughts

There is really just one thing I´ve decided about the new theme. The images will grow in width to 640. Height will not be fixed but will be what fits each image.

This theme I´m using now(SimpleReader) is not to be seen as the final product or the new theme that we are going to use. There will be a new theme. But just for making it more easy on our visitors this theme was choosen. I liked the basic design and the frontpage so I had to get it.

IF you like this theme to much then I´ll simply change this into something I´m 100% satisfied with. But unless you do just that I will change it sometime in the future.

A new logo

The future will hold a new logo as well. If everything goes as I want it the new logo might look something like this

Theme Features?

As I said I´m looking to change the theme into something fresh and new. To give a good experience to most of our visitors I want to ask those of you that comment: What features/styles would you like to see here?

I personally am not fond of sliders, but I know some people are. So let me know what you think should be incorporated into the new Fool and I will try my best to make it happen if I like the idea.

It´s been a long time since I last posted. I´m lost in thought to how to continue.

I´m starting to get a bit tired of Arthemia Premium. We´ve had the same design for 3 years now and it looks and works great. But still I want something new and fresh for it.

And I´m not sure if I should buy another theme, try to find a free theme and change it to my liking or code a completely new theme on my own. Since I can´t decide at the moment I don´t want to write to many posts since it will probably mean that most images will have to few pixels in width for the new theme and I don´t want to sit and reupload every single image again. So therefore until I´ve decided on what to do there will be very few posts on here.

There are a few themes I could decide on and get everything going pretty fast. But I´m not 100% sure yet. The other option is that I spend time with Arthemia Premium and make a child theme to it which changes how it looks but not how it works.

So let me know what you think and want. A complete new theme? Bought or own coded or simply rearrange the current theme?

You know you´re a busy man when you forget the month that your blog was given birth to. It´s been a lovely 3 years with loads of happenings. Some good, some bad.

So come on in as we celebrate the anniversery.

Given the amount of posts it has been a bad year. I´ve been down with my parents getting a divorce last December and then I´ve been going from and away being depressed. Avisch is studying so he´s busy. Atrer is working and studying, Stereo went into a deep depression and has gotten back to living a normal life but he hasn´t got the motivation to write here and that is ok.

So once again I´m the only one here and I update the blog sporadicly. Games like Ar Tonelico Qoga, Arc the Lad and getting down into the slump again when stuff happends is not good for a blog.

I´m sad and relieved. Thanks to google finding my “thoughts on pokemon” post they argued that I wouldn´t be able to keep having their adsense code if I didn´t remove the erotic image of the pokemon girls. Which I did. Now the visitors have dissapeared. The image itself is stil available to view at the same adress. But it seems as if google doesn´t send any visitors here anymore for that single image. Both good and bad. Mostly good since I was getting tired of having like 2000 visitors and 1990 of them just wanted that single image.

When I get the motivation I will once again start to write reviews for visual novels since I´ve been playing a couple of them and I can write about them.

But enough about that. We´re still alive and kicking and having a blast. Even though we are pretty old if you count us in dog years. But we will keep on grooving and have loads of fun.

So who wants to dance to this beautiful girl playing her guitar? I sure as hell want to!!

It´s that time of the year again and boy. This day just seems to become worse and worse for me. Last year I had no love live. It´s still the same this year, but man I really need to stay healthy. Now I´m sick.

First of all when that sad stuff is out of the way. I want to say congratulations to all couples of the world. I hope you´re spending it with your loved one. Eating a nice romantic dinner, giving eachother chocolate and just enjoying life.

For me this day will be spent alone in my room eating medicine to battle my flu. Boring sure but there has to be these days as well.

I´ll simply have to start playing some eroge to find some love feelings today :p

So, short post but still, happy valentines day everyone!! Or if you´re single. Try to get out and find that special one today. Bringing chocolates and flowers should help.

Yo. Another year has passed. And what a year it has been. So much has happend, some interesting, some bad.

For the bad stuff let´s just say I´m down in the slums mentally. Not feeling well at all. But I just have to get up. It will take some time to do so though. I´ll keep trying, just have to get up and think that this was the best solution and that everything will get better from here.

As for good stuff. Record of Agarest War, Bayonetta, Persona 3 Portable, Katanagatari, OreImouto and just yesh what a good year it has been for gaming and anime.

Also a bit of good fun stuff is that I´m going to try and livestream when I play certain games. Some after training, some directly during my first run. When you´re reading this I should be up and ready and broadcasting over at JustinTV and playing one game that I feel needs to be shared more: Record of Agarest War. I´ll be playing untill I can´t stay awake anymore in one sitting. And with Agarest being such a lengthy game this should be fun.

In the new year there are a lot of new games coming out: Disgaea 4, Ar Tonelico 3, Catherine(hopefully), Neptunia and hopefully Agarest Zero.

Animewise I´m not that updated. I know that Maria Holic gets a second season, Black Lagoon: Roberta´s Blood Trail gets a new episode and I also know that Mad House will slaughter yet another Marvel Comic. Otherwise I´m not that good at knowing what is going on here. I just tend to grab everything at the beginning and then slowly sort the shows out that I want to follow. That´s how I roll you know.

So without further ado, we at The Fool wish everyone a Happy new Year!! May the comming year be a good one for all of us!!

We wish you a merry christmas!!

It is that time of the year again when everyone is more merry than ever before, gifts are exchanged and most people will probably end up drunk as hell tomorrow.

This christmas will be a bit different than the earlier ones. Our old tradition of going to my grandfathers house to eat and watch Donald Duck & His Friends Celebrating Christmas will not be done. All because the simple reason that my grandfather died this year. To make things worse my parents decided to get a divorce. If only on paper and not living together anymore. But still we will get together to eat today.

So it´s a weird christmas, a very very weird christmas this year.

As always I have tons of stuff I want. But with the divorce and moving I won´t be receiving the usual amount of money as I would have. But I´ll have to live with it. I just have to make smarter descisions on what to get instead of just buying everything :p

A nice holiday tradition is that Steam is having it´s holiday sale. Each day to the beginning of January will have different items for sale as well as big packages being sold of pretty cheap, in most cases anyway.

The year has been ups and downs for me. Downs with the death and divorce among other things, good for me since I actually feel that soccer the next year might be worth it. My ability to make long passes indoor have returned, so I guess it´s a good sign.

But I won´t keep you guys here much longer.
