BlazBlue – Calamity Trigger

Summary

With each individual having their own drive, the fluent animation, the offline feeling of the network play, the ways of playing, the character, everything about this game is great.

If you are not a fan of anime like characters then I can imagine that this won´t be a pleasant experience for you, graphicswise anyway, if you can take your eye away from that you will find a great fighting game that is worth every penny in getting and worth spending time on learning combos and finding your character.

For fighters I´ve not been active lately, but after playing SFIV and then when I got my hands on this title I wondered why I had spent so much time on getting all characters and such in SFIV, BlazBlue beats SFIV hands down. And from reviews, KOFXII is buggy and isn´t worth playing so BB wins there as well.

In short, there isn´t a better 2d fighter at this point.

Grade: 10/10 – This is the ultimate fighting game, in 2d.
