Tales of Vesperia
Story
Yuri Lowell lives a life of oppression. He lives in the city capital lower side. Run down houses, poor people and so on. Upside a chair are the upper quarters where all nobles lives. Things aren´t good between the upper and lower quarters…
One day a magician comes down to the lower quarter to take a look at the blastia in the centre of the lower quarter. After inspection this fountain starts to malfunction and flood the place. After taking a closer look Yuri finds out the blastia core is missing and that the magician that looked at it was seen in the upper quarters. Going of to find this magician Yuri brakes into a house and sure as said, he gets caught and thrown in jail.
Here he meets a fellow prisoner and after getting some help from him Yuri decides to run away but be back to morning. While running around the castle he stumbles upon a girl being pestered by guards. He saves her of course and she wants to join up with Flynn, a leader of the imperial knights and also Yuri´s old childhood friend. So she asks Yuri to take her with him. Given how she was treated by the guards and that she lives in the castle it is safe to say that she is indeed the princess Estellise, but Yuri quickly renames her to Estelle since it´s easier to say. But he accepts and they start their journey.
This leads them outside the castle and into an adventure that will change the whole fate of the world. Classical stuff straight out of the book right here.
Own thoughts
With all turns taken and everything that happens in Tales of Vesperia I have to say I find the story really interesting. It´s got it´s cliches sure but I still enjoyed the storyline when I played and I wanted some things to be undone.
