The Fool

A young finds his mother sitting on the floor, grabbing her hand and crying while his father is looking for something to break. Sad by what he witnessed the boy goes crying back to his room. The scene fades away into darkness.

Next, the same boy is going to the kitchen to make some breakfast, when he comes around the corner his father yells “Disappear!!”
With tears in his eyes, the boy runs back into his room, standing with his back against the door, his father coming trough the door soon after
“I’m sorry; I didn’t mean to say that”
“It’s ok” the boy forces himself to keep his voice normal.

As his father leaves the room, a thought can be heard in the boys head: “ok, I should disappear…”

The scene once again fades into black.
Almost screaming Aidan sits up touching his forehead, it’s all sweaty.
“Damn, why do I keep dreaming about my past?”

Trying to get back to sleep, Aidan puts his head against the pillow, but he doesn’t succeed. Instead, he goes up, opens his bedroom door, goes into his room and sits down in front of his computer, turning it on and then he starts looking for “New Future”. After looking for a few minutes he finds it, downloads it, puts his headphones on, adding it to the play list in winamp and starts it. The sound strikes him and fills him with joy and he starts to relax.

The dream I’m always sketching.
The one that I’m right now how, could I possibly reflect
All of those days in these small eyes of mine?
Say, look up… The night sky stretches so far.
Yes… very soon, you will understand.

As the music fades away, Aidan feel relaxed and tired so he goes out to his sofa, grabs his pillow and sheet, wondering why he was sleeping on the sofa and goes back to his bed, placing the pillow down and upon placing his head on it he soundly falls asleep.
