Worries

Aidan continues to dance with Steve and Billy, just waiting for the time to end. The clock is about 0130 and the pub closes at 0200 so time is running out and Aidan hasn´t asked Mylene if she wants to dance the last dance with him yet.

Walking around Aidan starts to look for Mylene, she is nowhere to be found, as Aidan covers more and more of the pub he can feel his fear rising “what has happened? Did she go out? Did someone do something to her?” and more thoughts are running trough Aidan´s head as he continues to search for Mylene, sudden a door opens and Mylene along with two of her friends appear from the ladies toilet.

Feeling at ease Aidan returns to the dance floor and continues to dance “why did I worry? I was so sure that she wouldn´t get hurt before and this time I freaked out? Man the alcohol must be getting to me”

As the time counts towards 0200 the DJ can be heard over the song. “the next song will be the last, find that special someone and a Merry Christmas to everyone who was here today!”

Aidan starts looking for Mylene, but in shock he sees her walking towards the dancefloor with another guy. Terrified Aidan just stands there, he can´t do anything but watch as his plans crumble, pain emits from his chest and he goes to get his jacket.
