Party Preperations

It was december 25th, Aidan had done some thinking during the earlier months and decided he would host a christmas party at his home. So he gave Steve a call and told him about it and to invite those of the team that wanted to come. He gave Mylene a call as well, since only guys at a party would be really boring as he had learned from experience and told her to bring some female friends if they wanted to come.
Both of them had gladely accepted the invitation and said they would tell others about it. A maximum of 30 people Aidan had told them, so they could invite 15 people each, since his house wasn´t that big.

Then the cleaning had begun, Aidan hadn´t cleaned the house in months, but with this he got an excuse to clean it all. It took it´s due time. 2 rooms, a living room, kitchen and toilet, he had cleaned them all. So the house was almost sparkling inside.
Aidan wasn´t much for decorations, thanks to his upbringing he had bad memories of christmas filled with anger and fights instead of the happy holiday it should be.

This year he wanted something special to happen, he had fallen in love with Mylene during the year and he was sure of it, tonight he would confess to her. They had planned to have a little party at Aidans house before going to the pub and it was after the pub, the last song that Aidan wanted to tell her how he feelt.

Steve and Billy, two of Aidan´s friends from the soccer team had decided to meet up a little earlier than the other to play some games and drink a little bit. So after Aidan cleaned the house he took out his choice of clothes for the night and headed to the shower since he hadn´t taken a shower during the week he thought it was time, and he had it as a rule to take a shower before heading out to a party.

Getting out of the shower he dries himself with a towel and applies some deodorant under his arms but he has one problem, his hair stands in every direction usually and he isn´t really sure he would be able to make it look how he wants with hairgel. Thinking on what to do he decides to make an attempt with his hair.
But before he does anything else, Aidan gets dressed, a pair of black jeans along with a black sleeveless t-shirt and he´s done. Then he starts on his hair, somewhat succeding in creating the effect of his hair standing straight up but still flothing Aidan puts down the comb he used and just lets the hair dry.

A couple of minutes later Aidan hears the doorbell. He opens it and Steve and Billy are standing outside.

“Welcome Steve, Billy”
“Yo Aidan, nice of you to invite us”
“No problem, I thought it was my turn this time since I hadn´t heard anything from any of you I could as well be the host this year.”

After the usual greeting both Steve and Billy enter, they take of their shoes and the three of them go to Aidan´s game room. Sitting down Billy and Steve open up a couple of beers while Aidan goes out to the kitchen to grab some bear as well. Then they sit down and play some games, the loser has to drink a certain amount of alcohol.

Aidan thought he had gotten better but he hadn´t so it doesn´t take long before he sits in his chair and is quite drunk. But he doesn´t feel the alcohol that much. But it has taken quite some beer to get his this far and he doesn´t have much beer left. Out of experience Aidan knows that he can´t really drink much more than what he starts with, unless he wants to spend the following day throwing up most of the time.

Time flows when you´re having fun, so before Aidan knows it is time for his other guests to arrive. The doorbell rings and Aidan goes to open the door, outside, standing in white jacket, golden shoulder length hair floathing freely, with gentle ice-blue eyes Mylene is standing there, looking him in the eyes.

“Good evning Aidan, thanks for letting us come by”
“No problem Mylene, I feelt that I had to do something this year to repay everyone and this was all I could think of”

Taking a step back a lot of people get in, take of their clothes and start sitting down at tables and such or go and greet Steve and Billy. Aidan planned on using his computer for music this evening so he goes inside his bedroom where his computer is and starts the playlist him and Steve composed the other day. A smooth hardrock tune is flowing out the speakers and everyone starts talking, discussion, drinking, watch TV, they just enjoy a good time together.
